Our Plastic Parts Injection Molding Production

Customised to your needs

In processing common plastics, we utilize various techniques such as Insert Molding (also on vertical machines), Thermoplastic Foam Injection Molding, or Single and Multi-Component Injection Molding Technology (1K/2K) and GRD or Water Injection Technology to reduce cycle time. We also offer injection molding with biological materials and inserts, working with injection molding machines ranging from 160 kN to 2,500 kN clamping force.

The advantages of these processing techniques include:

  • Efficiency and economy thanks to short production cycle times.
  • Realization of complex component constructions with lightweight.
  • Ability to glue components into the sealing compound.
  • Production of parts with high strength and durability.

Additionally, we offer assembly and finishing services for assemblies, relieving your manufacturing process with these services. Should you have any questions or if you would like to exchange ideas with us without obligation, we are gladly available for personal consultation.

Plastic injection molding process steps

From material selection to the finished parts

The manufacturing of plastic injection-molded parts is a complex process involving multiple steps. Below, we have compiled the typical process steps from conception to production for you:

Product Design and Development: If there is a need for a plastic injection-molded part, the product design begins with the development of the molded part. Factors such as functionality, aesthetics, material selection, and durability are considered. Our experienced team of designers supports you in creating new shapes or optimizing existing 3D data for injection molding.

3D CAD Modeling: The second step in the manufacturing process is the creation of the CAD model. This is the basis for the creation of the injection mold, which in turn is the basis for a Moldflow analysis that simulates the flow behavior of various plastics, thus assessing the manufacturability of the design even before toolmaking.

Material Selection: Choosing the right plastic material is crucial for the performance and longevity of the part. Materials are selected based on their properties such as strength, flexibility, heat resistance, and cost.

Tool and Mold Making (Mold Design): Based on the 3D CAD model and selected material, the injection mold design and manufacturing are carried out.

Prototyping: Before starting mass production, prototypes (T-0 to T-x samples) are created in consultation with the customers, which are tested for design and functionality.

Injection Molding Process: In the process, all relevant sizes in the production setup are ensured. These include machine clamping force, dimensions of the injection unit, and automation possibilities for material feeding, coloring, runner handling, and production-accompanying quality control.

Further Processing/Logistics: Our services include further processing through surface finishing, assembly of components, or device construction, as well as storage and delivery according to customer requirements.
