Girls'Day 2022 – Future Day at WERNER WIRTH
We make sure that the future becomes reality
Werner Wirth GmbH opened its doors for Girls’Day 2022 on 28 April and welcomed 10 interested schoolgirls aged between 12 and 14.
As part of Girls’ Day, the girls had the opportunity to breathe the air of the working world for a morning and gain an exciting insight into the company.
In the process, the schoolgirls got to know lots of practical examples and were able to put their manual skills to the test.
On a fully automatic crimping machine, one’s own name or song lyrics were printed on thin cables. Tear tests were carried out with hair elastics and mobile phone covers, among other things. The students were fascinated by the possibilities of 3D printing – and the idea of producing a completely individual mobile phone cover arose on their own. And on the WW Alpha 6, a fluorescent varnish in the shape of a smiley face was applied – and made to glow under black light.
Finally, a student of business informatics presented his dual study programme and all other questions about training and entry opportunities were answered.
