With this acquisition, the Hamburg-based company specializing in interconnection technology and component protection strengthens its capabilities in harness assembly and module assembly.
WERNER WIRTH has increased its stake in SELKA Süßbrich from 40 to 100 percent. SELKA specializes in harness assembly and module assembly. The company is based in Belgern, northern Saxony. This makes it an important foothold for the WERNER WIRTH Group in eastern Germany, from where it can efficiently serve the eastern industrial centers and the southern German market. Managing Director Alexander Süßbrich will become part of the corporate leadership team and will continue to manage the site.
The family-owned company, founded in 1994, has been working with WERNER WIRTH for more than 20 years. In 2020, the partners began a strategic collaboration, aligning processes and equipment. At that time, WERNER WIRTH acquired a 40 percent stake in SELKA Süßbrich. The full merger was the logical next step, which took effect on January 1, 2025.
